I’m Matt.
Photography is my passion and an art that I love spending my time doing. I have spent many years doing photography just for myself as a hobby and second shooting weddings from time to time. Recently I have decided to make a switch to spending more of this time with clients and capturing those moments that they’ll cherish for many years to come. For me photography is more than a few snapshots of your event or special day, My goal is to capture those moments in time that truly show the love, compassion and emotions. To me a picture is more than an image, it is a window into the past that shows only a fraction of a second in that moment the picture was taken. The challenge is capturing that moment that tells a beautiful and flattering story and the odds are always working against you as a photographer. But don’t worry, I come to every event or photo shoot prepared to capture your story regardless of the challenges.
Like most photographers, photography isn’t my only job. I spend most of my week serving my community as a 911 call taker. As you can imagine with having such a stressful job, having a creative outlet is a must and there’s nothing more I’d rather spend my time doing away from work than photography.
